Something other than gas finally passes in the House!

Despite loading up on Red Bull and Depends Undergarments for a week of obstruction, Conservative Jihadists couldn’t torpedo the Senate’s approval of Obama appointees last night, and the House could not stop the passage of the first bipartisan budget bill in three-years.

In a big middle-finger to the extreme right, Boehner got his posse to vote in favor of a Murray/Ryan budget bill (332-94) that reverses additional sequester cuts and set spending levels for the next two years…just enough time, many hope, to purge the GOP of many of it’s Tea Party extremists.

62 Republicans, remembering the ghost of Boehner’s past, shouted “HELL, NO YOU CAN’T!!!” and voted against the bill, but Boehner gave them the side-eye, brushed that dirt off his shoulders and grabbed the one ball that Nancy Pelosi decided to finally give back to him.

Nancy’s holding on to the other ball for the inevitable unemployment benefits fight they’ll have in January, since 1.3 million Americans will lose their unemployment insurance on Dec. 28.
